Keywords:
Pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja, Quality of Work LifeAbstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate and clarify the working circumstances, the degree of Quality of Work Life (QWL), and the degree to which the work environment influences the QWL of workers in the Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta's front office department. Descriptive quantitative research using a causal approach is the method used. The 42 permanent employees in the front office department made up the study's sample. Total sampling was the sample technique employed, in which every member was considered a respondent. A standardized questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale that has undergone validity and reliability testing was used to gather primary data. The SPSS software version 27.00 was used to process the data using descriptive statistics and basic linear regression analysis. With an average value (mean) of 4.14, the descriptive analysis's findings indicated that the Work Environment variable fell into the "Good" category. With an average value (mean) of 4.16, the QWL variable was likewise in the "Good" category. The regression equation, Y = 0.739 + 0.777X, was revealed by the results of the basic linear regression study. The Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) was accepted after hypothesis testing (t-test) revealed a t value of 24.589 with a significance level of 0.000 (<0.05). The R2 value of 0.938 indicates that 93.8% of employees' Quality of Work Life is impacted by their workplace, with the remaining 6.2% being influenced by variables not included in this study. To lessen employee stress at work, hotel management should check the artificial lighting's brightness in the front desk area and lower noise levels during peak hours.
