Abstract

The intense competition in today’s hospitality industry requires every hotel manager to continuously improve the quality of their facilities in an effort to encourage guests to return in the future. This study was conducted to review the condition of available facilities, measure the extent of guests’ interest in returning, and examine the influence of facilities on that interest at Favehotel Olo Padang. A quantitative approach with a causal-associative design was employed, supported by simple linear regression analysis involving 100 respondents as the sample. Descriptive findings show that the hotel’s facilities fall into the “good” category with an average score of 3.53, while guests’ willingness to return also falls into the “good” category with an average of 3.52. Furthermore, the regression test results confirmed a positive and significant influence of hotel facilities on the intention to return, as indicated by a regression coefficient of 0.665 with a significance level of 0.000 (below the 0.05 threshold). The coefficient of determination of 0.601 indicates that hotel facilities account for 60.1% of the variation in guests’ willingness to return to Favehotel Olo Padang.
